01

Sediment Filter

A spun polypropylene filter catches sand, silt, rust flakes and visible particles above 5 microns — the first line of defence for the membrane downstream.

02

Pre-Activated Carbon

Activated carbon granules absorb chlorine, pesticide residue and bad odours that municipal treatment leaves behind.

03

RO Membrane

Water is pushed through a semi-permeable membrane with pores of 0.0001 microns — small enough to reject dissolved salts, arsenic, fluoride and heavy metals, while letting water molecules through.

04

Post-Carbon Polishing

A final carbon pass removes any remaining odour and improves taste right before storage.

05

Mineral Cartridge

RO strips out beneficial minerals along with contaminants — this stage reintroduces calcium and magnesium for taste and nutrition.

06

UV Sterilisation

Before it reaches the outlet, water passes under UV light that neutralises bacteria and viruses that could survive filtration.

RO vs UV vs UF

Which purification do you actually need?

The right technology depends on your source water's TDS (total dissolved solids), not marketing claims.

TDS below 200 PPMUF is usually sufficient
TDS 200–500 PPMRO+UV recommended
TDS 500–1500 PPMRO+UV+Mineral required
TDS above 1500 PPMHigh-recovery RO+UV, larger membrane
